Start Times – Provisional Seeding

Your team’s category is determined by the younger member of the team. Age is calculated as per 31 December the year the race takes place.

This special category is reserved for those living on the larger side of life. Teams that consist of riders both over 90 kilograms can register as Whales and qualify for recognition that often comes in the form kegs from Devils Peak and wine from the award-winning farms along our route.

It is important that every Epic Series rider fully understands the rules. We encourage all riders to carefully read through these before starting their training, refer back to them during training and have a last read through before rolling up to the start line.

• Keep left, pass right. Give way to faster riders
• Be respectful of your fellow competitors
• Follow the marshals’ instructions
