RIDER BAG TRANSPORT
We will transport your rider bag from Lourensford Wine Estate to Oak Valley and from Oak Valley to Benguela Cove. Please note only 1 bag per rider will be transferred and that your tag must be attached to your bag to identify it. Only you can collect your bag by showing your accreditation wristband.
Your bag must be checked in on Stage 1 at the DHL Drop-off tent that will be stationed in the Race Village at Lourensford Wine Estate. Your bag must be checked in before the start of Stage 3 at Oak Valley and can be collected at Benguela Cove before 15:00. Please see the daily schedule for check-in and check-out times.
*Please Note: For 2024 Riders will receive a Ciovita Jacket and not a Rider Bag
A guarded and enclosed bike park is located in each race village. The bike park opens 1.5 hours before the first start each day and closes at 19:00. The bike park is locked at night and patrolled by security. It is not possible to take or bring a bike from / to the bike park outside of the official opening hours. Please ensure that your bikes are locked when not in the bike park. Even though the utmost care is taken during your bike’s stay at the bike park, the organizers cannot be held liable for any damages incurred.
A fully stocked bike wash station with Squirt products is located at each race village. We ask that you get your bike washed directly after finishing the stage. The Squirt bike wash is open from arrival of the first team and closes 30 minutes after closing of the finish line.
FNB has created a relaxing space for you to wind down, have a drink and take a nap if needed. There will also be plug points for you to charge your electronic devices. The FNB Rider Lounge will be stationed next to the start chute in Oak Valley Estate.
The mattress in your tent is covered in plastic for hygiene purposes and to prevent it from getting wet and dirty, please do not remove the plastic.

Mediclinic will be on site in the race hospital that will be situated next to the Rider Lounge. Mediclinic will also be stationed at the water points.

The rider briefings will be played in rider dining in the evenings and will be made available on the Epic Series App. Please take note of any route updates or applicable changes, such as maximum stage times or intermediate cut-off times.
