WATER POINTS
On each stage there will be 3 water Points.
The locations are indicated on your daily Route Profile Sticker.
Each water point will offer a selection of South African inspired and nutrition approved snacks to keep you going, USN products, coke and water.
Snacks / Drinks
Refill with water, Coca-Cola or USN, and refuel with locally sourced snacks – even from our very own Peregrine – guaranteed to provide you with the GEES and fuel needed to reach the finish line.
Tech Support
Our Tech Zone partners are offering their technical expertise. Their service is free of charge, but you will need to pay for any spare parts on the spot.
Medical
A first-aid service is available at all water points. In addition, our medical team from Mediclinic is strategically placed along the route and deployed for any emergencies.
USWE Hydration Station
Our partners from USWE will be located at WP2 of each stage to help you fill up your hydration packs and ensure you remain hydrated for the kms ahead.
LITTERING
Littering is strictly prohibited. You may throw away items only at the water points within the designated refuse areas. Violations may result in disqualification.
REFILL YOUR BOTTLE
At the Epic Series, we’re committed to reducing waste and protecting the trails we ride. That’s why we encourage every rider to refill rather than replace.
Use your reusable water bottle to top up at water points along the route – and remember, you’ll also receive a brand-new USN water bottle in your registration pack to get you started.
