Eco Squad

Protecting the Natural Environment

Eco Squad is Epic Series’ sustainability initiative, created to raise awareness among riders about the importance of protecting the natural environments where our races take place.

Epic Series events are held in some of the world’s most iconic and environmentally sensitive locations. These landscapes are an essential part of the Epic experience and deserve our care and respect.

The Environmental Challenge

During multi-day races, riders rely on energy gels, bars, and hydration products to perform at their best.

While waste is carefully managed at official feed zones, challenges arise on the course, where riders are often far from collection points and riding through fragile ecosystems. In these situations, litter can be unintentionally dropped, impacting the environment.

Eco Squad promotes responsible rider behaviour and helps ensure that world-class racing goes hand in hand with environmental stewardship.

Partners

This would not be possible without the support of our partners. We would like to thank Ciovita and 226ERS for their commitment to this initiative and for helping us promote more responsible and sustainable racing.

Together, we can protect the natural environments that make Epic Series events so unique and ensure they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
