Your boat will bring you to the start of Stage 2 and is waiting for you close to the finish line after completing the stage at City of Cres – Island Cres. You will be able to enjoy the evening on shore, visit and explore the beautiful old town of Cres.

Bike Park
Your bike (that you checked-in the night before) will be waiting for you at the Bike Park on the Ferry in Merag- Island of Cres, before the start of Stage 2.

After completing the Stage
Drop-off your bike in the Bike Park (on the Ferry) close to the finish line until 18:45 to have it transported to the start of Stage 3.

Your day starts with an early breakfast and a bus transfer followed by a ferry ride. Stage start is at 10:45. We therefore
recommend you take some additional snacks from the hotel breakfast with you, in order to start the stage with optimum energy levels.

Luggage Transfer
Drop-off your luggage in front of the main entrance of Hotel Corinthia from 07:00-07:30. Your luggage needs to be labelled with the luggage sticker.

Rider Shuttle
The bus transfer will leave at 08:15 in front of the main entrance of Hotel Corinthia and will bring you to the ferry port in Valbiska, from where the ferry will take you to Merag.

Bike Park
Your bike (that you checked in the night before) will be waiting for you at the Bike Park on the Ferry in Merag- Island of Cres, before the start of Stage 2.

After completing the Stage
Drop-off your bike in the Bike Park (on the Ferry) close to the finish line until 18:45 to have it transported to the start of Stage 3. Our hotel shuttle will take you to your race hotel for a good night’s rest.

AN ISLAND ODYSSEY

The iconic ferry start, in the port of Merag, gets Stage 2 underway in a way only 4Islands MTB Croatia can. Rolling off the ferry and onto the wharf is virtually the only flat segment of the day, however. Teams need to be prepared to climb and descend throughout the 83 kilometres route, conquering 1 880 metres of elevation gain across the islands of Cres. Ancient villages, goat trails carved by centuries of shepherds moving their flocks between fertile meadows, and breathtaking views – not only of the ocean but also of Lake Vransko, though riders will have to have a special kind of vision to see the mythical castle which is said to be submerged in the lake. After a day of tracks and trails the stage ends with an urban dash through the old town of Cres where the finish line awaits.
