“We are excited to announce the Explore concept to the global mountain biking market and know that it will resonate with a large number of riders who have aspired to take part in an Epic Series event but who were concerned doing so would remain out of reach,”

“Each Explore event will feature iconic destinations and premium service, but less demanding than the typical four-to-five-day Epic Series race. This shorter format ensures that riders of varying abilities and fitness levels can enjoy some of the same remarkable trails, breathtaking scenery, and immersive community spirit that the Epic Series is known for, without the extensive commitment required for the main event.  These Explore events will welcome both seasoned racers and newcomers alike, providing an unforgettable two days of riding, camaraderie, and pure enjoyment; both on and off the bike.”

Registration
  • Friday, 15.08.2025 Registration 15.00-17.30 La Punt, Race Village

BIKE NUMBER BOARD

Securely fit your bike number board to the front of your bike with the cable ties provided in your registration envelope. Number boards may not be modified, cut, or obscured by cables. Your timing chip is glued on the back of the number board. Do not remove it during the race.

Back number with safety pins

Attach one of the provided back numbers to the back of your jersey or hydration pack. You will not be able to start without it. You may wear a jacket over the back number in case of adverse weather conditions.

WRISTBAND ACCREDITATION

Must be worn for the entire duration of the event, on and off the bike.

BIKE STICKER

Stick the bike sticker on the cross tube (top tube) of your bike. This is important so that we can identify your bike if the number board is removed.

STRIP STOP BAG

There will be a strip stop at each start area where you can drop off clothing you would like to wear while in the start chute and then again, after the stage. Please attach the strip stop sticker to your strip stop bag by folding the sticker on itself around the string.

RIDE PLAN STICKER

Place the sticker on the top tube of your bike in order to have an overview of the route throughout the stage.

Each team will receive one tracking unit that they will need to carry with them during each stage. Place the unit in your jersey pocket or fasten it to a backpack. Do not remove the tracking unit from the sealed waterproof bag. More information is provided in the Tracking section.

Race Village Services

If you have booked accommodation through us, you will find all information here.

If you have booked accommodation through us for your supporter, the same services apply for your supporter regarding accommodation. Where all information you can find here.

A secure and enclosed bike park is located in each race village. The bike park opens 1.5 hours before the first start and closes at 19:00 each day.

Volunteers are stationed at the bike park throughout the day to assist you.

The bike park is locked at night and patrolled by security.

It is not possible to take or bring a bike from / to the bike park outside of the official opening hours.

Please ensure that your bikes are locked when not in the bike park.

Even though the utmost care is taken during your bike’s stay at the bike park, the organizers cannot be held liable for any damages incurred.

If you have any technical problems, please bring your bike to the Tech Zone. The Tech Zone is open from the arrival of the first riders at the finish line and closes 30 minutes after closing of the finish line.

Technical support in the finish area is to be paid for by the rider when retrieving the bike from the Tech Zone. Pre-booked packages will receive assistance from the partners.

A fully stocked bike wash station with Squirt products is located at each race village. We ask that you have your bike washed directly after finishing the stage.

The Squirt bike wash is open from arrival of the first team at the finish line and closes 30 minutes after closing of the finish line.

In addition to the medics on route, you can visit the medics in the race village should you experience any medical problems. The medical facility in the race village is open from the arrival of the first team at the finish line until 30 minutes after the closing of the finish line.

If you have any serious medical health issues, allergies or hypersensitivities that we should be aware of, please check in at the medic tent before start of Stage 1 to advise us of the details.

If you’ve purchased a Standard orMassage Package before the event, please remember to book your daily massage slot at the Race Office after completing Stage 1.

🚿 Showers in Davos:

Showers are available at the Race Village in Davos. To make the most of your massage without needing to return to your hotel:

  • After the stage, you can shower on-site and head straight to your massage
  • Pack your shower items and fresh clothes into your strip stop bag
  • Drop it off at the Strip Stop in the morning

Fuel up for tomorrow! Visit the SPAR Snack Bar for recovery products designed to help you bounce back after each stage.

To support your recovery and help you prepare for the next stage, refreshing drinks will be available at the finish line each day. Stay hydrated, refuel, and get ready for what’s next!

After each stage, a delicious recovery meal awaits you in the Rider Lounge. Enjoy freshly prepared food, a well-deserved coffee from our baristas, and a refreshing beer to celebrate your ride.

To support our sustainability efforts:

  • ☕ Bring your SPAR reusable coffee mug
  • 🍺 Bring your SPAR resuable beer cup
  • 💧 Bring your BWT or own bottle. Refill it throughout the day at the BWT water refill station in the Race Village.
  • Pack them in your strip stop bag each morning so you can use them for your morning coffee and again at the post-stage meal.

If you haven’t booked any accommodation through us and if you’re not travelling with any supporters, you can still have your luggage transported between Race Villages.

  • 🧳Drop off your luggage at the Strip Stop in the Race Village:
    • Before Stage 4
  • Your luggage will be transported to the finish area of the next Race Village, ready for you upon arrival.
