Explore events combine iconic destinations, premium rider services, and the unique Epic Series atmosphere in a more accessible package. With a shorter two-day format, riders of all abilities can experience incredible trails, breathtaking landscapes, and the strong sense of camaraderie that defines the Epic Series, without the commitment of a multi-day stage race.

Whether you’re an experienced racer or completely new to the Epic Series, Explore offers an unforgettable weekend of riding, adventure, and shared experiences, both on and off the bike.

BIKE NUMBER BOARD

Attach your bike number board securely to the front of your bike using the cable ties provided. The number board must remain clearly visible and must not be modified, cut, or obscured. Your timing chip is attached to the back of the board. Do not remove it during the race.

Back number with safety pins

Attach your back number to the back of your jersey or hydration pack. You will not be able to start without it. You may wear a jacket over the back number in case of adverse weather conditions.

WRISTBAND ACCREDITATION

Must be worn for the entire duration of the event, on and off the bike.

BIKE STICKER

Apply the bike sticker to your top tube for bike identification if the number board is removed.

RIDE PLAN STICKER

Place the route sticker on your top tube for easy reference during the stage.

STRIP STOP BAG

Drop off clothing at the start area to wear before and after each stage. Attach the Strip Stop sticker to your bag by folding it around the bag string.

Race Village Services

A secure and enclosed Bike Park is available in each Race Village. The Bike Park opens 1.5 hours before the first start and closes at 19:00 each day.

Our volunteers are on site throughout the day to assist you. Overnight, the Bike Park is locked and monitored by security.

Please note:

  • Bikes can only be dropped off and collected during official opening hours.
  • All GPS devices, bike computers, cameras and other valuables must be removed from your bike before leaving it in the Bike Park.
  • Always lock your bike when it is not stored in the Bike Park.

While every effort is made to ensure the security of your bike, the organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage.

Experiencing a mechanical issue? Visit the Tech Zone in the Race Village for professional support.

The Tech Zone opens with the arrival of the first riders and closes 30 minutes after the finish line closes each day.

Please note:

  • Technical support in the finish area is payable by the rider when collecting the bike.
  • Riders with a pre-booked service package will receive support according to their package benefits.

Keep your bike race-ready and tackle each stage with confidence.

A fully equipped Squirt Bike Wash is available in each Race Village.

Please wash your bike as soon as possible after finishing each stage to keep it in optimal condition for the days ahead.

The Bike Wash opens upon arrival of the first riders at the finish line and closes 30 minutes after the finish line closes each day.

In addition to the medical teams on course, medical support is available in the Race Village should you require assistance.

The medical tent opens upon arrival of the first team at the finish line and closes 30 minutes after the finish line closes each day.

If you have any serious medical conditions, allergies or hypersensitivities that the medical team should be aware of, please visit the medical tent before the start of Stage 1 and provide the relevant information.

To support your recovery after each stage, complimentary refreshments will be available at the finish line. Rehydrate, refuel, and get ready for the next day’s adventure.

Refreshments are available from the arrival of the first riders until the finish line closes each day.

After each stage, a delicious recovery meal awaits you in the Rider Lounge. Refuel with freshly prepared food, enjoy a well-deserved coffee from our baristas, and celebrate the day’s achievements with a refreshing beer.

To support our sustainability efforts, please use your:

  • Your reusable coffee mug
  • Your personal water bottle

Water refill stations are available throughout the Race Village. We recommend packing your reusable coffee mug in your Strip Stop bag each morning so they are available for your morning coffee and again after the stage.

Please note: Complimentary coffee is only served when using the official reusable cup.

If you have purchased a Standard Massage Package, please book your daily massage appointment with our official massage partner ASICS at the Race Office after completing Stage 4.

Showers in Davos:

Showers are available at the Race Village in Davos. To make the most of your massage without needing to return to your Race Hotel before your massage appointment:

  • Pack your shower items and fresh clothes into your strip stop bag
  • Drop it off at the Strip Stop in the morning
  • After the stage, you can shower on-site and head straight to your massage.
