The grand finale blends urban MTB racing with technical island trails. From the historic harbor of Mali Lošinj to rocky summits and cliff-side singletracks, this stage tests everything riders have left. Fast descents, technical climbs and coastal cruising lead riders back to the finish line for a memorable conclusion to the 4Islands Epic 2026.

Congratulations on the effort so far — the final stage is now in front of you. After all you’ve put into this journey, Lošinj awaits as the last chapter of the race.

We start the final stage on the island of Lošinj, with the start located in the city centre at sea level. Riders staying on the boats can reach the start area on foot. Riders accommodated in race hotels will use the shuttle service to reach the bike park.

The bike park is located within walking distance of the start and finish area, at the local harbour on the Race Ferry.

After completing the stage, riders must allow time to complete several important tasks before departure. These include collecting bike boxes, packing bikes, returning GPS devices, receiving your finisher medal (official finishers only), and completing any remaining race procedures.

Riders staying on the boats are accommodated within walking distance of the start and finish area, as well as the bike park and Race Ferry, making logistics simple and efficient.

Before Stage 5

Before the start of Stage 5, riders must walk to the Bike Park and retrieve their bike. Once prepared, riders go to the start area in the city centre.

Bike Park

The bike park is located on the Race Ferry at the local harbour and serves as the central logistics hub for both hotel and boat riders.

After Stage 5

After finishing the stage, riders must pay attention to completing all required post‑race procedures. These include:

  • returning GPS devices
  • receive your finisher medal (official finishers only)
  • attending the official award ceremony
Airport Transfers & Bike Boxes

All riders who have prepaid airport transfers must follow the procedure below.

After the final stage, riders are required to:

  • collect their bike box from the bike park
  • pack their bike into the bike box
  • and leave the packed bike in the bike park.

Bikes will be stored overnight in the bike park and transported together with riders the following day as part of the organized airport transfer service.

Please ensure that all bikes are packed correctly and left in the bike park within official bike park working hours up to 16:00, as late submissions may not be possible to transfer.

Riders will start the day with breakfast at their hotel, followed by a rider shuttle transfer to the bike park.

Before Stage 5

Upon arrival at the bike park, riders must retrieve their bikes and prepare for the stage. From the bike park, riders will proceed to the start and finish area, which is located within walking distance.

Bike Park

The bike park is located on the Race Ferry at the local harbour and serves as the central logistics hub for both hotel and boat riders.

After Stage 5

After finishing the stage, riders must pay attention to completing all required post‑race procedures. These include:

  • returning GPS devices
  • receive your finisher medal (official finishers only)
  • attending the official award ceremony

Once all procedures are completed, riders can use the organized shuttle service to return to their race hotel.
The shuttle service departs from the Bike park / Race Ferry.

Airport Transfers & Bike Boxes

All riders who have prepaid airport transfers must follow the procedure below. After the final stage, riders are required to:

  • collect their bike box from the bike park
  • pack their bike into the bike box
  • and leave the packed bike in the bike park.

Bikes will be stored overnight in the bike park and transported together with riders the following day as part of the organized airport transfer service.

Please ensure that all bikes are packed correctly and left in the bike park within official bike park working hours (up to 16:00), as late submissions may not be possible to transfer.

Riders who do not have an official airport transfer must collect their bike box from the Bike Park during working hours, either after Stage 5 or the following day within the Bike Park’s operating hours.

Finishing the final stage is a meaningful achievement and a moment to look back on everything you’ve put into the race. The days on the course create memories that last well beyond the finish line. Congratulations — this result is well deserved. We hope you enjoyed our trails and would love to welcome you back to our unique playground of sea and islands.

Please, while enjoying all the endorphins, do not forget:

  • Receive your finisher medal (official finishers only).
  • Have your official finisher photo taken, with Sportograf capturing the moment for you. Your images from the entire race week will be available on sportograf.com within a few days of the race.
  • Hand in your tracking unit at the finish line.
  • Enjoy some drinks and snacks in the Race Village with your loved ones and fellow riders.
