Test Route

Parts of the official 2025 SPAR Swiss Epic route will be available for test rides on Mon, 11.08 from 12:00 and Tue, 12.08 until 15:30. These will be marked with official SPAR Swiss Epic route signage. The start and finish of the test route will be in the Race Village in Davos. You can ride the Test Route prior to Mon, 11.08, but note that there will not be any route signage marking the course prior to Mon, 11.08 12.00.

Please note that hikers and mountain bikers will make use of the same paths as the Test Route without limitations. Both parties need to be tolerant and considerate in order for this to work. It is important that mountain bikers slow down to walking pace when overtaking and stop at crossroads and narrow paths, in order to allow space for hikers. Riding these trails prior to Stage 1 is outside of race operation hours and is therefore done without medical assistance and route safety. For any emergencies before the official start of the event on Wed, 13.08, you can call 144.
