All the hard work and training has been done, and all you need to worry about is registering and getting to the start line. Registration day is your introduction to the Absa Cape Epic, where you will receive all of the necessary items to take part in the race.
PROLOGUE COURSE PRACTICE
The Prologue course will be open for course practice on the Saturday of Registration from 9:00-14:00. Please note you will need to display your number board and rider accreditation. You can choose to either ride the full route or take the signposted shortcuts.
The route is fully signposted, but please note that there will be no marshals, and all road rules need to be adhered to. In case of an emergency, you can call the event emergency number on +27 21 426 7716.
GRAND FINALE BAG CHECK-IN
We will transport any additional bags and/or bike box straight to the Grand Finale venue. The BigBox container will be located next to the rider bag tent at Meerendal Wine Estate where you may store any luggage that you will not need during the course of the week
PLEASE NOTE
These bags will be securely stored for the duration of the event. You will only have access to them after the finish on Sunday, 23 March at Lourensford Wine Estate, even if you drop out of the race during the week.
SPORTOGRAF
Every day during the race, Sportograf captures once in a lifetime memories of every rider. You can purchase a package before or during the race, where you will receive personalised photographs each day via email. If you haven’t purchased yours already, please come and visit us at the Race Office to purchase one. You can also purchase your package after the race where you will receive all of the images and videos taken of you over the 8 days. This package can be purchased after the race on www.sportograf.com
