A Welcome from the Absa Cape Epic Medical Team

Rider safety and wellbeing are fundamental to the Absa Cape Epic, and we are proud to work alongside our official medical partner, Mediclinic, to deliver world-class medical support throughout the race.

In this short video, Absa Cape Epic Race Doctor Dr Darren Green introduces the medical team who will be supporting riders from start to finish. Together with the teams from ER24 and Mediclinic, a highly experienced network of doctors, paramedics and medical professionals will be positioned across the route and in the race villages to ensure riders are looked after every step of the way.

The Absa Cape Epic is known for testing riders to their limits, and our medical teams are there throughout the week to provide the care and support needed to help you safely take on the challenge.
